Angelina Jolie was made an honorary dame during a private audience with the Queen today in recognition of her campaigning against sexual violence. The actress was accompanied to the Palace by her husband, Brad Pitt, and their children.
A referendum on whether Scotland should be an independent country or stay in the United Kingdom will take place on Thursday, 18 September 2014.
The referendum question will be “Should Scotland be an independent country?” – voters can only answer yes or no. Over 4 million people are going to vote.
